New JJ Abrams Show ‘Alcatraz’ Has a Trailer

The new trailer for the JJ Abrams produced show ‘Alcatraz’ now has a trailer for us all to check out. The show tells the story of the infamous prison Alcatraz and the shut down in 1963 — but in the Abrams version, it was only shut down because all the inmates vanished (Gasp)!! Cut to present day and the seemingly vanished/dead inmates are coming back and it’s up to a detective to piece this all together. So as you can see, it’s totally different than LOST, this takes place on an ..island…with people (Hugo)…and mysterious pasts…hmm. Let me know what you think, you’ll have time to think, because this doesn’t premiere til summer 2012 on FOX.

Stone Cold Returns to WWE!?

So first The Rock came back, and that was incredible, now Stone Cold Steve Austin returns?! (signing on to be a guest referee at WrestleMania XXVII, which I’m POSITIVE will be reffed fair!) It’s clear the WWE is just trying to bank off the past and get even more viewers. Either way, it’s a great marketing scheme, because it definitely peaked my interest in wrestling again. And I mean, who doesn’t love watching Stone Cold make a guy cry, stun them, then pour beer all over their face???
CNN Airs Diarrhea Scene from “Dumb & Dumber”

I was working from home the other day and I had the local news and the Today Show in the background. I don’t know why it took me so long to realize this, but news shows are a mess! And I know a lot of people give Fox News a lot of crap, but sometimes, CNN has its share of gems. Like the clip below:
Yeah, that just happened. What prompted that clip to be shown? It seems that nobody knows. This clip also reminded me of the infamous Spaghetti Cat video (which I love so much). Well at least this wasn’t like that one time when they played an unedited Coolio song with the n word still in it.
New BBC Show: “The Trip” Looks Promising

Straight out of the UK comes Steve Coogan’s newest show, “The Trip” – an improvised comedy, following the story of Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, two actors on a culinary tour of the north of England. What first put this show on my radar was the now famous impersonation scene of Michael Caine. Well I have tracked down the first episode, and here it is in it’s (two-part) entirety. How long til this show get’s a spin off in America?

‘The Walking Dead’ Is Awesome Possum

Before you start reading, let me just say, FULL EPISODE BELOW ONLINE FOR FREE ZOMG!!! Now that that’s out of the way…
AMC has been cranking out some awesome shows for a while now. These show include Breaking Bad, Rubicon, and, of course, Mad Men. But it doesn’t seem that they’re done yet. Coming off the heels of Halloween, the newest/awesomest show is The Walking Dead, a show about, you guessed it, the walking dead aka zombies. It premiered last Sunday, October 31st, to ridiculous ratings. I managed to watch the first episode and I am hooked. It’s cinematic quality, there’s tension, and so far, it has an awesome story. I can give you a synopsis of the story, but I suggest you watch the first episode in its entirety below instead. Enjoy!:
