It’s been brought to my attention by one of my fellow blog writers that this decent song by Mann samples Nu Shooz‘s song I Can’t Wait. Yay for the 80′s!! The beat produced by J-J-J-J-J-J.R. Totem is pretty addictive, to tell you the truth. I’m loving the old school feel you get from the beat. The hook is simple enough to get you yelling it by the end of the song and Mann’s got a decent enough flow to make this song radio-play worthy. Although his lyrics aren’t anything new, the song will be a hit if given a chance. Check out “Buzzin’”:

Back in April, we introduced you guys to a little tune titled Like A G6 by Far East Movement. We knew it was going to be a big song, but we didn’t expect it to be that huge of a hit. Well, it seems like this group of Azn’s are back with a follow-up song that’s equally as catchy and will probably find its own popularity when it makes it was around the radio and clubs. Greg, one of the writers of this blog, has always had one ultimate dream – to be the Rocketeer. You remember him right? You know, the jet pack, metal mask wearing hero from the 1991 movie? Well unfortunately, this song is not about him, but it does feature Ryan Tedder from One Republic. I’m not going to lie, I’m really feeling this Bruno Mars co-written song and I guarantee you’ll be singing the chorus by the end of the song. Check out “Rocketeer” below:

I’m pretty sure all Flo Rida does is make club bangers now – and that’s not a bad thing. Club Can’t Handle Me is still blowing up the charts, radio stations, bars, and clubs and it seems like his next song is going to do the same thing. “Turn Around (5, 4, 3, 2, 1)” samples one of the greatest 80′s songs ever, Day Bow BowOh Yeahby Yello, and it samples it well. In true Flo Rida fashion, this song is upbeat with a simple hook and fast paced lyrics about dancing, money, and the like. But what else do you expect out of this artist? So get ready to dance your pants off to “Turn Around (5, 4, 3, 2, 1)”:

So much has happened since we last talked. Netherlands and Spain decided not to play (and miss open opportunities) until the extra time, LeBron lost a home, and we’re going to Lake Anna this weekend!
I really wanted to put this in it’s own post. It is truely that amazing, how did we miss this? The bloopers of Winnebago man (NSFW language at all). (Thanks Lauren L.)
If one thing is true about our musical taste, it’s that we love mashups and can’t stand songs that get overplayed on the radio. If you’re in the same boat, there’s a solution for that: DJ Earworm. These mashups make these overplayed songs bearable again. Well this time, he took all of the “Summer hits” from this year, and made another awesome song. This was shown as part of a concert at Wembly Stadium for Capital FM’s Summertime Ball, where all of the artists performed. So check it out:

Say what you want about 3OH!3 and Ke$ha, but they make catchy a** songs. They first teamed up on ‘Blah Blah Blah‘ off Ke$ha‘s album – and I guess it was time to return the favor. “My First Kiss” by “KeOH!3″ (see what I did there?) gets stuck in your head like nobody’s business. How can such a simple hook with “Oo’s” and “sing-talking” do that to you?! They’ve tapped into a goldmine. Curse them. Them and their beats…Check it out below and think about your first kiss:
Guess who’s back to rapping? And may I just say – Thank God. I was getting so tired of his “artistic” phase. Kanye West is, in my opinion, much more entertaining/enjoyable when he spits instead of “sings.” He released his new single, “Power” on May 31st and I’m sure it’ll be blowing up the charts soon enough. You know how the Louis Vuitton Don‘s influence on the Billboard Charts is. Although his last single, “Coldest Winter” didn’t make a dent on the music charts or in people’s minds, I’m sure this song will. Mr. West is back in the building:
Like this song? Make sure to keep an eye out on his new album, Good Ass Job, which might be dropping this June.
After flying under the radar after Swift-gate, Kanye West has come out with a new song and video. But don’t get too excited about it. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s not that bad – but I guess he’s still in his “artsy (fartsy)” experimental stage. I sure do miss the old Kanye, though. But check out the video to “Coldest Winter” below:
I was never a fan of Kevin Rudolf. When everyone was geeking out over “Let it Rock” and “Welcome to the World,” I was too busy pointing out that they’re the same song. Seriously, listen to them, they’re the same song. But when I heard “I Made It (Cash Money Heroes)”, I have to admit, I liked it. Plus the fact that they used “Heroes” to describe themselves is ridiculous.
